I now have the 'Peter Cushing Lives In Whitstable' song as an earworm.....I'm sure it'll be gone by May
I did not know that. Did you know my brother lives in Whitstable and Alan Shaxon one time president of the Magic Circle was born in Whitstable?You do know that the Weatherspoons in Whitstable is called 'The Peter Cushing'.

How about a social ride along the mainly traffic free route from Whitstable to Ramsgate ,taking in the harbour views of Whitstable ,Herne Bay ,Margate and ,Ramsgate . . Distance about 27 miles .
The subject is thrown open for discussion ,folks .

Sounds very good. I can extend my ride home too.
Will mark the date on the calendar.
@Salty seadog one to consider?
As we're talking mostly traffic free I asume we mean along the apron and sea wall. My advise would be there are a lot of shells thrown up from the sea, although I have not suffered one, punctures may occur.I've only cycled it once but a friend had a mtb tyre ripped open on them. Happy to be assured by the more local who cycle it regularly.
Another regular rider, without issues.Have cycled it a good few times on a road bike with no problems.

Does a sheared seatpost bolt count?
(LBS in St.Peters, Broadstairs sorted it...)
