I've noticed that my wife's front wheel is slightly out of true. Although its not that bad, having looked at the 'how to' video on youtube, I thought I would have a go at getting the wheel true, or at least a little better than it is currently.

Could anyone recommend a spoke tool. Are the tools specified as the across flat dimension of the nipples. Our spoke nipples are, as best I can measure, 3.43mm (hers) and 3.50mm (mine) across flats, so is this the size of tool(s) I need.

I'd like a reasonable tool that doesn't round the nipple or shatter, but would like it to be low cost as its not something I will be using that much hopefully.

I got a little round one from brooke's, it's never failed [unless the nipple was rusted anyway]. Handy little item fits all sizes.

Spokey, just check the size and colour required.

Never liked keys that do more than one size as easy to use wrong size.
