Yes. My son uses them. He's also used Look, spd, spd-sl and of all, he prefers Speedplay
yep. much easier to clip into than normal single sided SPD-SLs due to being double sided but still keeping all the same benefits of large contact area, sure-footedness etc.
only downside is cleats are expensive, more than half as much as the pedals iirc. But they don't wear out that fast if you get the cleat protectors and use them when you're walking around.
it's a slightly different clipping in action (down with the whole foot at once rather than toe first - like stubbing out a fag) but once i'd got used to them would no way go back.
just ordered another set for my fixed... have to keep swapping them over 'cos i've only got one set - come on parkers bloody well hurry up and send them will you
