spd-sl to spd?

I have used that conversion kit and it worked ok.
The only down side is that the cleats do protrude quite a lot. I would say even more than spd-sl's. So consequently they are a bitch to walk in. But riding wise ok.
As others have said, new shoes with the correct cleats are better.

I've used these for over a year solid on road and MTB. They still look and feel brand new.
Size wise, they are small fitting I.e. I'd normally wear size 43 but had to get 44.

i was given very kindly from a member on here a spd-sl set (shoes, pedals, cleats) but now that the cleats ave worn out i am thinking of changing to spd but not wanting to spend a fortune and get new shoes to replace my current ones that i like i have seen this

I have these pedals & cleats that I first tried when going clipless. I wouldn't recommend them to a novice, but as you have been clipless for a while they might be ok for you & the cleat is metal (very spd style) so wont wear out. I can post them on if you like :thumbsup:
