i have nike running shoes atm, doubt i'll get clips yet, my bike came with a sort of socket you put your feet through (triban 3) and you can just slide them out easily, not tried them yet, will use them saturday perhaps. thanks

I would let a doctor look at the bruises, could maybe be a circulation issue or who knows what. I would be on the safe side with it.
