Sora Mech capacity

My Carrera Vanquish that I bought from Halfrauds came with a long cage 105 mech and the biggest ring was a 32T on the cassette, It worked perfectly, never realized it was not supposed to, I rode that bike for around 4000 miles no problem.

No reason at all why a LC 105 shouldn't work with a 32 set up, providing the chain length is correct - as you've clearly proved.
