Some new bikes on order.... cannot wait!

I was fortunate enough to be allowed a bike of my choice for my return back to cycling and my partner was looking to upgrade groupsets and a paint job. After a visit to our (not so) local bike shop and discussing the options and expense of these upgrades she basically decided a new bike would be better.

We spent 4 hours today getting measured and fitted for the bikes and ID matched for some lovely new saddles too. The shop has been fantastic and very informative.

My new steed is an Orbea Orca M30 (sorry Vickster I know its all black).



And my partners new steed is also an Orbea but the Avant M30D



Now we just have to wait like kiddies at christmas for the bikes to arrive at the shop!!

Cannot wait to get back out in the saddle.

2 - 3 weeks!! Are they being made bespoke for you? My Planet X only took a fortnight in the middle of their warehouse/workshop moving.

No not bespoke but they are coming from orbea in the specs we want then the shop will fit all the other bits for us. I'm just hoping it's closer to the 2 weeks though

Its still for sale.... alas no-one loves it! Its a 49cm so not sure of the exact measurements of top tube etc. I'm 5'7 and it fits me with the normal 100mm stem etc

Ahhh lucky you. Nice weather and bikes! I'm a little jealous. Orbea are a spanish company I believe , I however am NO Contador!!
