As my Mrs will be having my synapse 105 11 speed in the not to distant future i am getting a new bike i have set a budget of £2500 and these currently are three that have caught my eye.

Interested to see what people's thoughts are on the rose and focus bikes? (Do like the idea of UDI2 as well)

Get a cheap hybrid and give the difference to WaterAid.

Mmmm titanium, classy comfort

Unless you are racing, then carbon might be a better choice

Not racing no, The titanium is a nice looking bike but doesn't float my boat unfortunatly. I have my winter bike all sorted so i am looking for a good spec bike for the summer as it will be my last bike i purchase for a long time. (;))

Excuse my ignorance but why titanium? And it doesn't have to be the full 2.5k that is the maximum.

Titanium is a brilliant material, light, strong, doesn't rust. easier clean, no paint/lacquer finish to worry about, repairable, but if its not for you go with what is, titanium is not just for winter & there are loads of different options on frame & builds.

Other retailers are available.

I quite fancy one of these as my next bike, but a lottery win would be needed.

of the 3 the RS -3100 would be my choice,

You always get this, you have provided three options and everyone ignores those and gives opinions on something else entirely. Irrespective of what my personal preference is, I would go for the cheaper of the 2 Rose bikes, good spec and excellent value for money. The choice in sizes is amazing compared with Giant or many of the larger makers flooding the market.
