Didn`t marry till i was 31, having to do things that had to be done,but 21 yrs and 3 kids later still very happily married. Although we have had our moments, thats all they have ever been.

..well it's been 30 years now and we've been through a lot...usually the peaks and troughs even themselves out but I have to be honest and say that the downs are deeper and th eups are smaller these days...it's complicated and I cant go into it here...maybe it's the midlife thing...maybe it's not...I suspect not...anyway just thought I'd ask...you know , see if the grass is ever greener etc

I don't know this from experience as I'm still with mrs rich p after 33 years but there must be a point when it's right to not try to stay together if it's really wrong for both people. Kids complicate the issue of course but it can't always be the right decision to stay together unhappily. I think. I've got the impression from some of your previous posts that eveything wasn't rosy on the domestic front but how can anyone truy know from the outside.
