Well done. It won't be long before you do a 10 mile ride and think it's a short one.:highfive:

So true...., but it gets worse.
IIRC I started back in to cycling about 3 years ago with 20 mile rides and found those hard.
Now I catch myself thinking of a 200km audax as a "short ride".

Well done JozeeB!

Actually its another biking bug infected chapess/chapette (not sure the correct female version of chap!!) :girl:!!
Bug has definitely bitten!! I had a great day today completing the Great Manchester Cycle. I only did the 13 miles but completed it in 1:01. Not bad for someone who was a couch potato a month ago (and has a dodgy back)!! Definitely want to do the 26 next year or maybe even the 52!! Such a buzz....
Next I want to look at upgrading my bike making use of the Bike To Work Scheme!! :bicycle:

Well done JB...i remember my first 10 miler, the turn round point was atop a smallish hill. I remember being red faced and gasping by the time i got there, ready and happy to turn back home.
That point doesnt even register anymore...10 miles is warm up mileage...you'll be the same, we were all there once.
(and it doesnt take long for 10 miles to seem easy)

Can't really say any more than has already been said....if you carry on at the rate you have started that 52 miler you mentioned won't be a problem! Well done to you and keep going!
