....we managed our first 10 miler tonight.... I know its not the greatest distance, but to me it is!! ^_^ And the best thing is that I felt I could have easily gone on much longer (had to get back to grumpy 12 year old!). Such a sense of achievement as we have gone from zero fitness a month ago to loving improving all the time.
13 miles on Monday doesn't seem so daunting now!!

Well done. Soon you'll get to a point where you'll WANT to cycle everyday. Even go to shops as an excuse

To be honest I've reached that point already where I want to be out on it as much as possible! It really is addictive!

Ahh JB you dont know the start of it. If the bug gets you the only remedy is to cut your card and shred it then fry it nd dig a hole.

well done keep up the good work ;) I'm new to cycling too and did mine last thurs. and 2 days ago I did my first 20+ miler :smile: and doin short miles when i can on me working days..
