So I fitted a Topeak DX Super Tourist rack

I had to file a semi-circular section out of the left-hand mount for my DX to clear the adjuster on my rear brake (Miche caliper brakes) and give it a bit of an S-bend kink to clear same. I've been meaning to make a stainless bracket to connect the rack to the seatstays as I was unimpressed with the two-strips-of-Meccano one-size-fits-all brackets supplied with it. And before anyone says anything yes, I understand they have to be universal fitting to fit a ranger of bikes but they could be better quality/better though-out than the supplied junk.

Very true, the only fault I could find with em but once you've got a couple (on different bikes) and 3 or 4 bags the ease with the bags remove whilst still being secure is fantastic. I even got one of the beam racks to use on a couple of the bikes that you can't fit a normal rack to, (bags fit the same on those)
