Indeed, it's a shame they rebuffed my attempts to do just that. Problem is, it's a big organisation and no one persons wants the weight on their shoulders of admitting they were wrong.

With ABC and GDPR and all that bollocks people are even more frightened than ever of making decisions. Auditors are taking months longer to finish company audits because they're so embarrassed at the stuff they ignored in the past and now everybody is terrified of signing so they just pass everything up the line.
