I'm going for a mistype of 'Alum' for aluminium. A and S are next to each other on the keyboard. But I still like the idea of a slum frame. Very gritty and urban.

Ok so I purchased said bike and asked the seller and it was indeed a typo of Alum.

It is very nice, not had chance for a long ride as it will spend most of the winter on a trainer . Mountain bike will take the brunt of the winter weather. My last road bike was about 33 years ago , Raleigh racer so no comparison . It's light,smooth and rolls for ever so can't wait to give it a proper ride.
