OOH and i thought you were going to give mercia CC a go ?....

I would like too, but...

1-its been too cold and Im too much of a wuss
2-cant bare the thought of putting cruds on the roubaix
3-not sure if Im going to be staying in the west mids (wouldnt want to "steal" a ride from them knowing I might bugger off)

on all 3 counts
1, must admit i wimped out last 2 weeks but i have had a bad cold, green goo still oozing after a week
2, need a winter hack ^_^
3, I dont think they would be that "bovvered "

May sound simple...but as you surmise, could it be the tyres. My wife has a Spesh tricross sport and the tyres that it came with made it feel very sluggish. With 30mm Schwalbe Marathon racers, it was much speedier and responsive.

Just a thought:eek:

Wow. That's the first time someone has fitted Marathons and found the bike speedier and more responsive :wacko: what on earth was on there before???
