FWIW, I think Evans is possibly putting too much effort in here just 6 weeks before the TdF but he may think his chance of a GT win is more likely in a Contador-less race.

Spot on. I was thinking about this last night, and a win in the Giro is going to be a more realistic goal than in the Tour where, apart from accidents or illness Berto will walk it. Evans as a good runner up though. I've lost faith in the Schleck bros.

Andy Schelck will be there or there abouts. Blew his chance last year waiting for his brother...plank! I think he s AC s only credible challenger, and just look at the team of domestiques he s got at his disposal, They ll make leakygas at the giro, look like our sunday clubrun !
