I can't get to grips with waterproof clothing. The more waterproof it is the less breathable & the more I sweat inside. So either way I get wet. It's a judgement call whether I put on w/proofs depending on how heavy the rain is and how cold it is. The exception would be overshoes. I hate wearing wet shoes.

Was drizzling when I looked out of the window this morning so I didn't think to bother putting on waterproofs. 2 mins into my commute it starts WRECKING it down. Was thinking about turning around but thought I'd make a go of it.
Of course the exact moment I reach the train station the rain stops. Everyone on the train looks at me like "how'd he get that wet? Fall in the canal or something?".
I also need some actually waterproof gloves
