They're always fairly conservative in their assertions

I can remember when I rocked a 21t lowest gear. Went out for a quick ride with my 23yr old son yesterday, he's only an occasional pootler and rides a hybrid, but he dropped me on the 1st (and only) hill like it wasn't there. Those extra 33 years must be really heavy!

Swapped a 34 rear cogged wheel over and as long as on the inner front ring it all works and I think a new chain to right length and all would work ok
