Sold my BMXs earlier this year, did not use them after my cancer treatment, but now more or less recovered, i just bought another one, needs a bit of work, stripped it all down today, going to get a respray and a good clean up. At 72 probably a bit old. but hey ho will give it a go, there is something about a BMX.

More wheels than sense
I swapped the Ripper, nice but boring, for a GT BK which is much more fun

I had one as my "getting around at Uni bike". It had a proper seatpost on it, none of this stupid modern trend for almost no seat post.

Bought me another today, Radio Valac, just needs a good clean and put a brake on it. nice lightweight wheels and tyres, looking forward to riding this, probably the lightest bmx i have had, Pics to follow.

My 1984 Mk2 Ultra Burner. I don’t remember it being awkward to ride as a youth, too many birthdays I suppose lol

Very nice !

I had one of these new BITD.

I’m guessing Araya 7x Aero’s not very easy to find in good nick these days……

Thank you 🙏 .
I tried to replicate the build I had as a youth and by lucky coincidence skyways are way cheaper than trying to source tidy Araya wheels. In fact the whole build is with repop parts so nothing too precious on it so I’ll avoid anxiety should anyone want to have a ride on it lol
I took some better pics of my modern; larger framed (Comfortably rideable !) ET replica recently……
