I enjoy salads with....lettuce, arugula, chard, kale, spinach, cukes, onions, both sweet and green, artichoke hearts, asparagus, blanched green beans, small cold boiled potatoes, garlic, anchovies, kidney beans, new peas, snow peas, big bloody chunks of steak, blue cheese crumbles, sardines, tuna and salmon, raw cabbage, carrots, Orange or grapefruit segments, grapes, apples, pecans, cashews, pine nuts, walnuts and almonds, cold chicken, croutons, ham, bacon, roast beef, Swiss and cheddar cheese, feta and Kalamata olives. Perhaps not all of these in the same salad though. I don't eat turnips, radishes or celery, unless the celery is filled with buffalo chicken dip, so it doesn't taste like celery.
