worse still, what matters is not the number watching, but the share of the slot. The TdF was up against some really big hitters, probably getting 2 to 3%. That's not going to fly on ITV1 outside of a graveyard slot. (And Paulus, Cash in the Attic scores 43%. That is big, big stuff....)

Cash in the Attic = a lifetime of prosecco for you!

What is Cash in the Attic? I'm envisaging some kind of horror movie where a famous country singer is kept in a locked room at the top of a dusty staircase and forced to cover Nine Inch Nails tracks, but from my admittedly meagre knowledge of daytime TV that sounds a bit too edgy to play alongside Murder She Wrote

It is a staple of BBC day time TV. I think it goes something like this! Although I may have dreamt it

C list celebrity and former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash hides in an unsuspecting biddie's attic. When discovered, the old lady has to try and snare him by hitting him on the head with a Claris Cliff vase that would have been worth £55 if the right dealers had been in the auction room.

Better would be to have eurosport on Freeview. I refuse to give money to the Dirty Digger, so no Sky for me.

BTW I seem to remember reading something somewhere about Frees view and sat looking into PPV channels on their networks.

I like it where it is... Excellent coverage chaps. If it did move as long as it was on one of the free channels I would watch and be happy... If it was on a ppw channel I would be very unhappy and have to put my hand in my cobweb filled wallet. Viva Le Tour.

+1 for this- I thought ITV did a great job actually- and being a 'mudblood' newbie to the Tour and its intricacies i really welcomed Ned & Chris's rather excellent & sometimes proper comic interludes... besides if it gets big audiences you can bet the 'dirty digger' will buy up all the coverage and make us pay for the privilege on his execrable TV network...
