Pointless getting a soft top if you haven’t got a garage.
I owned one for a few years without a garage. No matter how careful you are it will leak.

My 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero never leaked, despite it living outside in all weathers. Great car but couldn't fit a bike in.

Coincidences: I used to work with a guy who came to the UK in the early '70s as a refugee when Idi Amin threw all the Indians out of Uganda. One day he mentioned that he lived in Leeds when he first arrived, so I asked whereabouts, and it turned out it was the same street where we'd lived.
