Can you not go back to where you bought the bike from and ask them to set it up for you.

Thanks Montage and Derrick. I'm a bit crap at working with bikes to be honest and like the idea of spending 60-90 minutes with someone who knows what they're doing. Thought about going back to the bike shop but I doubt they will give me quality time ...

I suffered from a sore lower back during and after cycling, I over came it by strenthening it. I was advices to do body pump and Pilates..core strengthening. Good luck ;-)
