Thought it was just a bit of dirt but on closer inspection appears to be a crack in the weld. It's the non drive side of a cheapo Allez Sport frame. Any opinions welcome.
I've had it 11 months done less than 2000 miles and I do look after my stuff. Well try to anyway. Hmm maybe I might send a couple of e mails.
What's made your chain go green, or is that just reflection?
Very clean for an 11 month old / 2000 mile bike. Or maybe you've seen the reaction of some when they post pictures (asking for advice) and get the 'your bike's dirty; give it a clean' advice.
If you are the original owner from new then the frame has a lifetime warranty.
I'm not sure it's a crack but I would send some pics to specialized and seek their advice.
The Specialized warranty is second to none, if the frame is cracked they won't repair it but will have it replaced within a week.
It is likely that they will send you to the nearest Specialized dealer, maybe a concept store should the frame be deemed faulty.Yes owner from new only bugger is I brought it online fromTredz so hope that doesn't mean going back to them first. Have found the Spesh details on the inter web may just give them a call and have a chat. It must be recent as I've cleaned it numerous times before and would have noticed it.
