ok, I'll bite. No need for several pages. Just show me one link to an ebay ad for a pair of cycling shoes that are supplied new in the box, complete with SPD-type cleats.

come on now, be sensible. That's a private seller, selling a set of SPD cleats bundled with the shoes. You will not find a single shoe manufacturer that supplies shoes, from new, complete with any type of SPD cleat. You won't find any, because there aren't any.

For the record I can't understand why shoes would be sold with cleats. What are the odds that they'd fit your pedals?!

which is why they are not sold with cleats... Boxed, non-oem pedals always come with the necessary cleats and fittings. Shoes do not. If they did, whose pedal cleats would they come with? Shimano, Time, Look, Ritchey, Wellgo, Exustar, Crank Bros, Speedplay, MKS - or maybe all of them...
