I have read on one of the forums to buy the next size up anybody have experience of these shoes?

I have read on one of the forums to buy the next size up anybody have experience of these shoes?

I bought 44s and they fit me well, enough leeway to wear thin or thick socks. I usually wear a UK 9 or 43 so going a size up seems reasonable.
