Hi guys
First time posting on here. I'm usually more of a voyeur reading all the interesting discussions.
However, I find myself at the end of my tether and losing sleep over my dilemma.
I have a 2014 Sempre Pro (amazing) which at the moment has ultegra 6700 set up with 105 shifters and fulcrum 3's. I'm looking to upgrade and my choices are either A, Ultegra Di2 and Dura ace C24 wheels or B, Campagnolo Record with a set of Campag wheels.
I know the bike demands to be full Italian, and if I'm trueful the Ultegra chainset is ugly as sin, especially on such a beautiful frame.
I don't want to miss out on electronic shifting though (can't stretch to Campag eps ) if Campag Record is not a million miles from Ultegra in terms of feel and performance.

I have a 2014 Sempre Pro too, with full Ultegra, aside from FSA brakes and crankset. Really great bike, I agree.

Was the right deal for me and love the plain Matt Black option of the Ultegra version.

Would like Campag at some point, but Ultegra is just so nice. Don't forget that you can still run Campag wheels, even with Shimano kit as they offer a Shimano freehub option. I run Zonda's on mine, for example.

SRAM are about to release a Wireless version of their electronic groupset soon, in case is of interest too? Not Campag, I know, but looks cool though.

High end Shimano gear when properly set innuendo painfully sexy and smooth to use, just feels gorgeous. Ok, its like buying an IBM PC over a Picasso, but is sheer performance and dependability are your goals then it really is hard to better.

Yeah, but if it's raw sex appeal you're after then Campagnolo is your only option.

I'm sure electronic shifting has its place, but that place is not on any of my bikes.

So, er, not full ultegra, then.
