shimano triple 10speed compatability

Certainly an interesting thread for me as I plan to buy a Croix De Fer in May and have thought about changing the rear mech to enable bigger sprockets on the rear to be used.

Why pay a lot for an mtb mech when a long-cage road mech would do the job just as well. I've got a Tiagra mech working with an Ultegra chainset and it works just fine.
