Shimano SPD pedals on Amazon

Hey y'all,

I'm looking to make my first foray into clipless so want to pick up some anti-breaking-the-bank pedals and trainers. Is £23 a good price for these?

I'm thinking of getting these to go with them http://www.decathlon.co.uk/road-cycling-shoes-7-id_8126406.html although any trainers of a similar price that people have had / tried then do throw some recommendations my way!

You can get cheaper (good starter SPDs, I have on my road bike)

but those shoes don't appear to be compatible with SPD cleats...

Oh yeah, my bad! Is there a danger of buying pedals that are too cheap, or does it not really matter?

Get spd-sl you won't regret it bit fiddly at first

some 105 shimanos 70-90 price match

Mmm that might be a bit more than I can afford...especially getting trainers to go with them! I was hoping to spend 70 or 80 tops on pedals and shoes if possible...

sl is for road bike and are ONE SIDED

Other way, SPD-SL road style, 3 bolt, big non recessed cleats, MTB, SPD, smaller 2 bolt recessed cleat
