Sorry to bother you all with what sounds like a stupid question but hope someone can help.

I have been riding my new genesis volant 10 with sora gears a bit and have noticed (and sorry for the lack of technical knowledge) that when I am in the biggest cog at the front and the smallest two at the back the chain is rubbing on the front derailleur.

I am guessing this is a fairly simple thing to fix and I have read about trimming etc and h/l screws but not sure what to do?

can anyone point me in the direction of the right?
Thanks

Thanks for the replies. It doesn't hesitate as I'm in the big cog at the front already but it is as I move down to the smaller cogs on the back wheel that I hear it. Kinda intermittent as I move into fourth smallest cog but then very loud and obvious when I reach the smallest cog.

When you say cable needs tightening is that through the h and l screws?

No, Cable tensioner but if you have moved the H andL screws they will need resetting as per the video posted by theloafer yesterday.
