Update the soaking in gunk for 24 hours has not solved the issue
Rang sjs cylces confirmed I found the correct freehub ,delivery due April !!!
So options try an locate another supplier
Disassemble the hub somehow
Buy a new wheel

You’ll probable find a decent used wheel off eBay for not a lot of pennies

Visited Lbs this morning unsurprisingly none in stock ,ordered a replacement via them ( support your Lbs if you can) same lead time as SJS due April
New wheel purchase not much choice as again in short supply but The defy is back on the road
