I've got a Guilia Supremo with 6800 ultegra mix.. they were shifting them cheap(ish), built up with some random, but all branded parts. 61cm frame came up nice and big - 130mm stem etc.

Cannot fault it for the money. I can upgrade brakes & chainset if I really wanted, but the non-series shimano parts are doing a good job anyway. Stamp hard on the pedals and it goes brutally quick.

Ordered it for delivery and only really needed the bars setting and the wheels put on.

they have the 2015 model but with mix ultegra for a price of £1260, but i dont know if there is a big difference of weight between these two apart the groupset

It's a different frame. I believe (through research) that the lombardia pro is what it says it is and the lombardia Ltd edition is a toscana with different stickers.

At any rate the pro is much lighter.

I think i will go for the lombardia special, shimano 105 it's enought for my use. i will buy a set of carbon clincher. The final weight will be round 8,7kg with pedals. For sure it's a big change in compare of with my 10,3kg old bike

Good pick. The stock wheels weigh in at 2.1 kg, so big weight savings to be made though if you mean the Ltd edition I doubt you'll shave off a whole kg.

i'll shave off 400g, i know it's nothing but i really don't need ultrega on it. i've been looking for a while the best price for a shimano 105, and the lombardia ltd special ediation is the cheapest issue one for a carbone bike. 8.7kg still ok for me, i'm a light rider 65kg

Anyone know about the Merlin badged road bikes they still show on their website? Are they sensa frames in fact, or something else?

They're not Sensa frames. Possibly some generic open mould from the East... but nice nonetheless. I've got one. I chose it over the equivalent Sensa because it was quite a bit lighter.
