Second story about cyclists "deliberately" ramming cars

I must say its very difficult to break a car window, especially from the outside. Whilst in my early twenties on my way home i hit traffic that was at a practical standstill due to a minor RTA, unable to filter i was crawling along at the same pace as we came to a left turn the driver in the car next to me a red escort Mk2 iirc after losing his patience and without looking hung left and put his foot down, promptly knocking me flying causing my chain to come off and buckiling my backwheel fortunately the hit was almost instantaneous so di little harm to me, having had a bad day myself though i promptly picked my bike up and threw at his windscreen, with quite a bit of force i might add this did little more than scratch his bonnet, however i was left feeling a little guilty as regardless of my frothing rage he still got out and couldn't apologise enough. The point however is that modern car windows are stronger being designed to break from the inside and not from the outside so i have trouble believing that anybody could put there hand through one without doing serious damage to themselves.

Pop down your local scrapyard im sure they would be happy to let you do it on one of there cars.

Failing that look for videos on youtube of police procedure in this country when they stop a stolen car at the end of a chase, normally takes a good cpl of whacks with there extndable steel battons to do the job.

EDIT : added video.

Heres a guy trying to do it with a hammer.

You lot simply have to learn your place on the roads!

It is obvious that if a vehicle pulls out of a junction in front of you and you fail to stop than it is a deliberate decision on your part to ram the other vehicle.

Same with a close overtake.

Get out of the way - that is your duty!

I tried to ram a car with my handlebars.

Apparently

Approaching a red light already in primary and only about 20 metres away, taxi tries to overtake, pulls alongside straddling the white line, I refuse to move in at all as he tries to force me over, and eventually brakes and pulls in behind

"No need to try and take my effin mirror off you c**t"

I am sure in his mind, he honestly throught I was driving at him

Why use a handlebar when you can pipebomb?

Raymond Brown usually writes stories like this, he did in my local free paper, a total non story about new shared cycle paths outside a school and a confused old dear who now thought he couldn't use the path to get to the post box on the path and was taking a huge detour to get to it.
Instead of just pointing out to the guy that it was ok, like anyone with a brain would, he did a Daily Mail stylie report. News must have been slow that week or he really does has issues!

It's not at all surprising. The same behaviours are witnessed with motorists against motorists on T junctions in accidents where they've not given priority, pulled out at the last minute and the other car has gone into the back of them shortly after the junction and then the motorist claims they were just going along the road peacefully and got rammed from behind.
