Probably explained why someone knicked my rear mech the other day, but left the rest of the bike.

OK, the rest was chained up, but how do I stop people pinching bottom brackets, headset bearings, etc?

I don't cycle anymore, but after reading this thread I had a browse on fleabay. There is some serious kit on there being let go at pocket money prices. If I were still riding I reckon I could get two bikes as good or better than any one I used to ride for the same price.
