Aye up,
When I assembled my bike I asked the manufacturer, Mason, if I should use Carbon paste on seat post. They recommended to just use a normal Anti Seize, which I did use- Parktool anti sieze, but my wondering have led me to ask why they did not say to use Carbon paste as it has been used pre delivery on the Deda Superzero Carbon bars

You don't share what material the seat post is made of, nor the frame's material.
Thread title lacks utility, imo. Perhaps this is deliberate.

As Mr Bay correctly points out, it helps to know what materials were dealing with.

Carbon assembly compound not only acts as an anti seize, it also increases friction and allows one component to grab another effectively, while fastened to a lower torque value than would be required for a metal seat post with regular anti seize.
