Few of my things have arrived to day, all added to my bike apart from seat post. thought these were universal for attatchment to the saddle but turns out this one aint , the lengh for grip between rails jus a tad to small for it to grip evenly on both side, anyone have any solutions apart from taking post back? I have added some pics which hopefully should help thanks!

It doesn't look far out. Have you tried to lock it down and see if it pull the rails in?

Take off the topeak clip and see if it fits then, it may be forcing the saddle rails out slightly. I had to get a narrower one of them for a thinner road saddle.
My clip does seem to be a tight squeeze so ordering 1 of them narrower ones, thanks for info . will try cable ties tomoz if i can find any, thanks for all help guys!

Edit: p.s HL you got it spot on by taking clip off thanks m8
