I bought DHB Aeron shorts. They are padded and not too expensive. I haven't got the miles I'm me yet to say how good the padding is, but you can probably get better. Also they do a bib version. Not really sure what to say on saddles, I'm researching how to choose a new one, as mine appears to be made of a thin bit of plastic.
