Steveindenmark, wait until the day comes when, at the roadside, you trap the inner tube while deploying the tyre levers and you will prefer other methods in future.

:cycle:But when does that day come? Im nearly 60 and have changed hundreds of tyres. I think there are those who know how to change tyres and those who dont. Fortunately I do. I put them on, blow them up and thats it. Its not rocket science.

You must have been born on a Tuesday?

The worst tyres I've ever had to fit werw some quite cheap Vittoria Radonneurs and once on I barely ever used the bike again for fear of puncture. I eventually sold it on, through lack of use ironically.
They were totally hateful things to attempt.

No probs with two sets of 32c Randonneur Pro's;as I do with all new tyres I unpacked them and let them hang in a warm-ish room for a day or two before putting them on(they were on a set of H Plus Son Archetypes and some old Bontragers off a Trek hybrid).

Always put some talc in the tyre to help stop the tube sticking and also put a bit of air in the tube before fitting the tyre.

Only time I've needed to use levers to put a tyre on recently was getting the Scwalbe Duranos on to the old Mavic Ma 2's on the Weigh ss.

Oh and another  for Park tyre levers.

Funny innit how different tyres do for different people. I've aleays done the above and generally never have a problem, M+ are sweeties for me, even 18 inch green guards on my Birdy.

I've had another fight this week with 26 MTB Vittotias. They hate me and its a mutual feeling ;). The M winters went on to an identical set of rims no bother.
