Morning all.
Early doors today as had to drop wifey and her sister at train station for their trip to Londinium. Straight on to sainsbury's for shop. Back home before 8.30 which is normally when I get there.

Off to collect daughter from Uni later. Backgammon and coffee with pastries in that case.

Laters.

'ning

rather nippy start, but sunny

rode up and down hills, on the way back the rear tub was slashed open by something about a km from home, so a careful low speed pedal-coast back

tbh it was conti sprinter that's lasted over a year and rather squared off, good going for london, had a new one on the stretching wheel already, that's now glued and waiting to fit, roll on the next trip when it'll be the wheels with veloflexes

coffee now

Morning
Just cleaned my bike and to be honest other than I’ve got rid of the drink stains from my bottles, it still looks grubby. I might be better paying some Boy Scout to clean it for a few quid.
Mrs W has just got out with our old neighbour from the last house, I think their going to Whitby on the train.
so the worlds my Oyste.

'strewth, it took over 45 minutes to remove the dead tub, the rim had a veloflex on previously and when removed they leave behind the coating on the basetape, now with the conti's bare basetape, the coating+glue combo had become some super resilient high adhesion hyper glue

it'd be tempting to sell the formula to musk to stop pieces of his cybertrucks falling off, but he doesn't deserve it

now for a restorative coffee and biccie

Erse. Still the treasurer, nobody else wanted The Chores. So will have to (again) manufacture some credible numbers to pass the audit. Jings, like being a professional...

Started the day with a walk, but was pretty fresh breeze to start the day. Humph. Cleaned up the big workbench a bit in the shed, chucked out some old and rubbish cranks and worn chain rings, and binned a few other odds and ends. This helped avoid the real work for the day.

Trainer ride in the afternoon.

Watched the qualifying on the turbo is full winter kit (including hat and gloves) as trying this heat accumulation training. Then a run with some pals, followed by the joys of food shopping for a bbq later.

Before the bbq - ebike vs road bike race up a hill

Daughter beat me 2-1 in our Backgammon. Pah! And I'd bought her pastries, made her Cappuccino, cooked her poached eggs on spinach for lunch. That's gratitude.

Chores done earlier: kettle and coffee machine descaled, washing machine door seals cleaned of grey gunk, washing machine cleaning stuff ran on hot cycle. Washed my socks and pants though since no longer having a working arse I see little point in washing the kecks so often. Maybe a bit of pipe drip, but if I borrow 'Loons tubing apparatus, I could eliminate that too...

Finally back home from today's adventures. Young oxo has decided after driving various fast cars that he doesn't want a lambo or ferrari he wants either a porker 911 or Nissan GTR, personally I preferred the Mclaren 720 or if I'm slumming it I'll have the Aston DB11. Both pipedreams.
