Which direction should I be looking in and what time?

I'm no expert, but my guess is up.

I think they are just about to launch two Americans up there. They haven't had their 14 day quarantine or a test tho'

I'm not so bothered what time the Starlink satellites are due overhead. I just want to know when they are due to become self-aware and turn against humanity. Oh, wait .... that might be Skynet. Then again, that Musk fellow does seem a bit of an oddball evil genius type!

I went out last night after all the hype. It was pretty unremarkable - I saw several satellites pass over in the space of 3-4 minutes, all heading west-to-east, brightness varying from barely visible to easily seen. It wasn't the "string of stars" that was predicted though.

I also saw another satellite moving on a different orbit.

Same for me. The single different orbit going directly overhead.

Towards Lyra, of course!

At 10pm last night the radiant point was approximately north-east, about 20-ish degrees high. The radiant point is the notional point in the sky from which the meteors appear to radiate and they can go in any direction from there - if you are facing in generally the right direction you won't miss them if they show up.

You don't need very big optics to spot Uranus.

Yes - I think one Russian and one American at the moment

I have just been outside and watched Elons train pass by my house. A crystal clear sky and really easy to see.

How often would I expect to see it come by during the night?

Saw about 30 satellites, 30 seconds apart with 5 in view at any one time
