It is the location of the sit bones that count not the 'padding' that the owner of the sit bones has added. According to my LBS, some pretty fat arses have narrow sit bones.
If you can ride a Flite Titanium (original) all day then you are 'ard' - mine kills me if on a flat ride..... over a 3 hours.... I'm a bit old school - love me Selle San Marco Rolls and Regals...but both heavy - so the Flite is on the best bike.......
No idea how 'fat'' my ass is as this width stuff is way after I bought my saddles......
The Rolls was used as an example by the people at Specialized to demonstrate how bad old school saddles were for you. I had a Rolls many years ago, but I wouldn't go back to one now!
I don't think the distance between your sit bones is exactly the same as the saddle they recommend, there's a clever scale that links the two, from what I remember when I discovered I officially had a fat ar*e
