Saddle stem stuck

Wonder if someone can help just bought a nice as new carbon road bike but the saddle stem wont budge, the previous owner could not move it either, anyone got any ideas as to moving it at all, its carbon so guess you cant use mole grips like a metal one just wondered if theres a trick ti it.

For your google searches it's a seatpost rather than a saddle stem.

If you google carbon seatpost stuck you should get some advice generally it involves lubricants/penetrants and leverage.

But with stuck carbon seatposts sometimes you just have sacrifice the seatpost.

Remove the seat spray around the join with lubricant then spray down the tube turn the bike upside down so the spray runs back down the bottom of the seat post and try moving it repeat the spraying as needed.

Bad luck huh took the seat off but the stem has no hole in it to spray down tube, its one of them daft fittings without the normal seat stem..... Oh well maybe if i take it to a bike shop they can do it somehow, but thanks for your help....

The thought occurs that it may not have a seat post as such...
It may just be a continuation of the seat tube which is cut to size (with a small amount of adjustment at the saddle fitting).

I had an alloy post freed by a local engineers using ultrasound - wouldn't budge with molegrips. Don't know if this would work with carbon.
