Saddle Sliding Back On Rails

You normally need around 100mm minimum in the frame. You can always cut down a longer post.

Tape won't work, it will just gradually creep.

You need to investigate the problem properly - why are the clamps not clamping the rails securely? Has one of the clamps got a crack or been distorted?

mebbe, mine has not moved at all since i taped it as i marked the rail for saddle set back .Might be i caught it before it was a big problem.
