That's it... me an the wife are making a run for it!
Off to Finland for a week tomorrow, with any luck we'll ride out this arctic frost there... at least that's what the travel agent told us.

See you when we get back!

Doesn't seem too bad out there. Thought it'd be snowing by now.

There's a few small flakes flittering about here.

I've just come in to warm up, washing my bike at the moment and ice is forming on the spokes before I've had a chance to wipe them dry!

It's starting here - Like dust particles rather than big flakes

A bit of dandruffy stuff just starting in Leicester - looks like metcheck got it spot on for once. I bought a new pair of overshoes yesterday - looks like they're staying in the drawer for a bit, and the turbo is going to get a hammering:sad:

this makes me laugh . We've had snow before for crissakes. Anyone old enough to remember 1966 will vouch for that. Half the country cut off for weeks. We were stranded at school in Essex and had to have food airlifted in by chopper.

Trains had snow ploughs fitted...they didn't get stuck on leaves in those days;)

We need to take care of our elderly and disabled or housbound neighbours. make sure they have enough food and warmth
