There was that, and I thought that for a couple of the groundings Italy had lost control of the ball.
Results have to go Italy's way realistically, I reckon France will tank Namibia later and make up ground points wise. I think Italy would have taken third spot and qualification for Australia before the tournament started. That said, NZ were really poor against France so who knows?!

Some of the French passing and running has been absolutely brilliant. I know it's "only" Namibia, but when they're in this sort of mood I love watching them. Penaud is next level in particular.

Today should be interesting:
- ENG try Smith at full-back against Chile (which I sincerely hope will be an easier game than JPN - @AndyRM you can quote me on that ;-) ). I really like Smith as a character, seems to light up the pitch when he's on.
- IRE vs SA !!!
and of course WAL vs AUS tomorrow could be even interestingier ... hope the Aussies made flexible hotel bookings ...
(Scotland-Tonga looks like a potential banana-skin; hope SCO stick to what they're good at, and just play Proper Rugby.)
