I am thinking of ordering a Rose CL on line, but not sure of the sizing. I am currently riding a 54cm Trek, but Rose are recommending a51 cm? Any advice appreciated. Seems a tad small for me?
Compare the geometries, different manufacturers measure different bits to get the sizing labelI am thinking of ordering a Rose CL on line, but not sure of the sizing. I am currently riding a 54cm Trek, but Rose are recommending a51 cm? Any advice appreciated. Seems a tad small for me?
I went with the size they told me after the guy asked me my height. The size was spot on for me. I wouldn`t want the hassle & cost of returning the bike.I would go with what they tell you, (presumably you've given them your dimensions?) if it's wrong you can always return the bike and opt for the larger size which they will arrange as part of the service.

The guy asked me my height and inside leg, I should have said. I understand there are all sorts of measuements and geomotries that can be used depending on how specific the fit needs to be. When I have asked staff in bike shops they have always said height and inside leg.Height is not enough information to decide the frame size.
Cinelli experience has a 53 or 54.5cm top tube depending on which measurement you look at.I'm 5'8", 29" inseam and ride a 51cm Cinelli experience frame with a shortened stem 110mm down to 80mm. Retul based fit.
Thats not to say 51rose whatever model is right or wrong for you, but to show it could be.
This is the issue with online purchase where you cannot realistically try the bike for size.
