I always use the rollers next to a wall...I've had a couple of not-so-comedy moments!

The only thing I find is that because there's no wind (could use a fan I suppose), I sweat like a fat lass in an over heated disco. Sweat goes into eyes and I have to stop for a wipe down. I can't do it as I'm rolling, I'll fall off...

Get a headband, or a wrist band.

No!

Always wear a helmet and gloves when using a Turbo or rollers.

It's not you; it's that idiot who pulls out without looking!

Signal clearly, look behind frequently and plan your approach to junctions.

The naivety of some indoor-trainer users is quite shocking!

But seriously... do have a towel draped over your crossbar. You will be shocked, disturbed and slightly troubled by the torrents of sweat that fall on all the uncoated parts of your bike...

I do cover the vital bits with an old tea towel to protect the bike. However, the sweat issue (I've tried a sweatband) believe it or not is from the eyebrows!!

I have to confess, I never indicate my intentions to other traffic whilst on the rollers.

Wear the headband a bit lower then?

Or a wrist band at least means you only have to take one hand off the bike for a second to wipe the eyes.
