Statistically speaking it looks like not much has changed. I know deaths catch the headlines but serious injuries and even some minor ones are too frequent too IMHO.
With the H&S culture we have in the work place and for "events" being as it is It seems to me that if H&S was applied to the roads we wouldn't have so many "amateurs" in charge of dangerous machinery. Double standards.
