Road Morph pump head a tight fit.

As the title says, my Topeak Road Morph is a really tight fit on schrader valves, I have managed to bugger up the valve on my Airzound trying to remove it! It is a real pain to get on and off the valve on my tubes as well, I am making sure that the locking lever is unlocked but it still doesn't budge. I have to unscrew the locking collar to release it just enough to slide off but even then it is tight.

It has worked flawlessly in presta valve mode and I am a little miffed that it does this in the other setting which I need for my touring bike tubes.

And advice would be helpful.

They are a bit tight until a bit of use, put a bit of spit in there.
