KnackeredBike

I do my own stunts
It was me that originally coined the term "endurance bike".

I was in the LBS to hear the familiar "Bloody hell, your bike's knackered mate".

I told him "Its meant to be like that, it's an endurance bike".

We agreed a commission deal and the rest is history.

Maybe you need one like MB's, seemed to work ok for endurance cycling. Ugly thing tho!

I go by looks and those endurance bikes have really long head tubes that make them look dorky. I already look enough of a dork without the bike adding to the facade.
LOL I didn't want to say that I have thing about the mahoosive headtubes And slopey top tubes! Hence the Cannondale Six small head tube and dead straight top tube like a bike should be. Don't know why it bothers me as when I am on it I can't see it.

I think the more relaxed geometry of the endurance, or, as we used to call it, sport touring bicycle, has the ability, all other things being equal, to be a bit more comfortable in the long haul. The tall head tube is just a function of the more upright ride . Having been an old ad man, I call it comfort enhanced design. CED is for the discriminating rider who enjoys the finer things in life, and wants to have his head up from the road, and experience the world around him. The well rounded and erudite cyclist appreciates the attributes of CED.
Old Ad Man? Nice to see you've still got it!

Oh and Seat stays have to end where the saddle opens!

Although like most bikes it could do with a chain!
